Kindly update the Mantra biometric device drivers in all systems where IPPB Finacle is working.

If the POSB account is not linked to IPPB account while opening account, it can be linked subsequently on customer request. Following is the procedure for linking POSB account with IPPB account
Finacle command used for linking is CLDPOSB
Same command is also used to delink account
Following screen will appear
Select Function - Link
Enter IPPB Account Number. On clicking tab details like Aadhaar number, Name of customer and mobile number will automatically come.
Enter POSB Account number and DOP CIF ID
Select consent and Agent Declaration
Click on Generate OTP
Enter six digit OTP and press tab to enable Validate OTP.
On clicking Validate, message for successful linking will appear

Role of Postal Assistant and Postmen/Gramin Dak Sevaks(GDS) in IPPB
  • Postal Assistant along with Postmen and Grameen Dak Sevaks are going to play pivotal role in the journey of IPPB.
  • IPPB aim to empower the lives of milions of customers by helping them to be financially included, helping them to be aware and achieve of short term and long term financial goals. You are a part of this noble journey by leading it from the front,You are the most important people as you will engage with the customer and be the brand ambassadors of IPPB.
  • You will take charge of situations on the ground and tell the customers about Banking and our offerings to them.
  • IPPB is going to facilitate the payments services for last mile customers through Postal Assistant at the counters of HO/SO and Doorstep Banking extended by Postmen and Grameen Dak Sevaks. Payments Services includes Remittances, gas and electricity bill payments, mobile recharge. DTH recharge school fees payments, buying of bus and unreserved train tickets, payments of direct benefit schemes of Government of India, small payments to local fruit and vegetable sellers etc.
  • In a village, the nearest bank branch may be 10-25 kms away and the India Post, with its huge network of post offices and army of Postal Assistant and postmen/Grameen Dak Sevaks, will be able to effectively deliver the services of IPPB and Dop
  • Even if a customer is not familiar with operating a mobile app on their own then they can approach the postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks armed with micro-ATMs or transactions at their doorstep.
  • postal assistants at counters to help them make payments and complete the various They will also onboard the different merchants to so that the customers will not face any challenges to use QR card for making various payments digitally 
  • All these will be going to help the country to achieve the dream of digital India and developing an eco-system for the cashless economy.

New Features:
  • Account can be opened with documents other than Aadhaar
  • Proof of Identity and Proof of address should be submitted by the customer
  • Account opening form is available (Click here to download forms)
  • CIF should be created first and verified before creating account.
  • Mobile number is compulsory and only one account can be opened with one mobile number.

Symantec blocked Mantra RD Services Setup. Is any other way to install Mantra RD Services without uninstalling Symantec?
See, Symantec block the untrusted or unworthy setup based on rated by the users or availability of certificate in Operating System/AV as well as software provider.
 No Need to uninstall Symantec from India Post client PCs/Server PCs for installing Mantra RD Services softwares.

1. Download Mantra Device drivers and RD services from its Official Sites. Once downloaded, Symantec Application scan the newly downloaded setup.
2. In Windows 7 or lower version or in some edition of windows 10, Symantec does not allow Mantra RD Service Setup. It will quarantine the setup immediately. 
3. Open Symantec Application, Click View Quarantine, Select deleted RD service Setup then click on Restore button to restore the quarantined setup.
4. Now, you can install Mantra RD services without any issues.

Many offices where the MANTRA MFS100 Biometric Device is installed are reporting above error while e-kyc authentication of the customer. This problem is due to some configuration issue in the Mantra Device Set up and experienced all over the country with this device. Given below steps need to be performed for solution of this issue (Network Cable of your Desktop should be removed before performing these steps) –

1) Find Mantra Installation Files Folder on your desktop. (Mantra MFS 100)

2) In this folder there are two files namely – MFS100 Driver and Mantra RD Service

3) Right Click on MFS100 Driver File and select option Run as Administrator and you will be directed to MFS100 Driver Setup Wizard. Click on Next, Click on Install, Again click on Install, Click on Finish.

4) Now, Right Click on Mantra RD Services and select option Run as Administrator. System will prompt as – An old version of app was detected. Do you want to uninstall it. Click Yes here. Again Click Yes for the question regarding complete removal of Mantra RD Service. Then message “Mantra Registered Device Service Production was successfully removed from your computer.” Click OK. System will redirect to Setup Wizard. Click on Next, Next, Install and Finish.

5) Now connect Network Cable to your Desktop. Type “Services” in serch bar on your desktop. Click on Local Services. A list of Services will display on your screen. Here there will be two services (As shown in below screenshot)  namely – Mantra AVDM and Mantra AVDM Helper. Both these services must reflect as running after completion of above steps.

Now you can try opening of new account with status of Mantra Services as running.

Stop following services (if any there):
1. ACPL FM220 Registered Device service
2. Morpho 
Note: Better uninstall other RD services if not required.

Download Drivers & RD Services:

Download required mantra drivers and RD services from its official sites.



  • Install Mantra MFS100 Driver Setup & MFS100 RD Service as per Operating System.
  • Both Setup should Run as Administrator privileges
  • Restart service in Services.MSC
  • Unplug and plug the Mantra device for ready to use
  • Then change IE settings as mentioned below

  • After IE configuration, the followings sites should be added under trusted sites
https://127.0.0.1:11100/
https://rdtest.aadhaardevice.com/
https://download.mantratecapp.com/
Once the above configuration is done, the below URL may be invoked in IE and the result of the URL is "Can' reach this page"
https://127.0.0.1:11100/

RD Service Test Application:
1) HTTPS : https://rdtest.aadhaardevice.com/ (Test https URL if your website is in https)
  • By running RD Service Test application, user can detect all RD Services installed in their system.
  • User can get Device Information which is connected to its system by clicking on Discover ADM.
  • By calling capture function of RD service, user can capture biometric data
  • After Success Message Device is ready to capture finger print.
