Swachh Bharat Cess @ 0.05% on PLI & RPLI Premium w.e.f 15-11-2015

Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue has introduced Cess of 0.5% as Swachh Bharat Cess w.e.f 15.11.2015 on services coming under the purview of Service Tax.


Accordingly Service Tax(including Swachh Bharat Cess) on PLI/RPLI Premium will be collected as under, w.e.f 15.11.2015
      • Revised ST For First year Premium is 3.62% (including Swachh Bharat Cess 0.5%)
      • Revised ST for Renewal Premium is 1.82% (including Swachh Bharat Cess 0.5%)
